Job summary

Nyati Group in Pune seeks a qualified Project Engineer to oversee construction activities for real estate projects. You will ensure execution aligns with drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety rules, timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities include coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors and vendors, monitoring progress, and ensuring project completion within defined time and cost constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 11–15 years of relevant experience in real estate or construction projects.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, specs and quality standards.
• Experience in residential/commercial building projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Proficient with MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD, MS Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure execution of civil, structural, architectural, MEP and finishing works as per drawings and specs.
• Review drawings, BOQs, technical specs and construction schedules.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Project Engineer to oversee and coordinate construction activities for real estate projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that project execution is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, timelines, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure execution of civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Review drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and construction schedules.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor project progress against the approved schedule and identify potential delays.
• Ensure construction work is completed within defined time, cost, quality, and safety parameters.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors and ensure proper deployment of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections, testing, and rectification of defects.
• Track material requirements and coordinate with procurement and stores teams to ensure timely availability.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
• Maintain site records, measurement sheets, work completion records, and other project documentation.
• Verify contractor bills and measurements against actual work executed.
• Identify technical issues at site and coordinate with consultants for timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with project safety procedures, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Monitor snagging, rectification, and handover activities.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide regular updates to management.
• Support project cost control, estimation, and change-order management where required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 11 to 15 years of relevant experience in real estate or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, specifications, and quality standards.
• Experience in residential/commercial building projects will be preferred.
• Good understanding of MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office.
