Job summary

Inoxpa in Pune is seeking a project engineer to manage multiple projects ensuring quality, cost and schedule adherence. The role includes preparing PFDs, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and technical specs, and coordinating with suppliers for techno-commercial submissions to customers.

You will support the Manager-Project & Engineering in supplier selection, project scheduling, and the installation, commissioning, and handover of systems with performance meeting customer specifications at the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical installations and erection of tanks and vessels.
• Familiarity with process piping, utility piping, and structures.
• Knowledge of TIG welding and electrical installations.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D and MS Office.
• Understanding of codes and standards like ASME, SMS, 3A, EHEDG, DIN.
• Knowledge of dairy products and processing.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for installation and commissioning at site.
• Manage end-to-end project management activities and scheduling.
• Handover of projects to customers with performance per specifications.

Role Purpose:

To Manage and complete multiple projects complying quality, cost and schedule.

Responsibilities & Key Result Areas (Impact on Business)

• Prepare PFD's, P&ID's based on Process & Project engineering
• Responsible for equipment layout on general arrangement drawings
• Prepare detailed technical specifications and equipment specifications
• To communicate technical requirements of an enquiry to suppliers & selection of different equipments, instruments & components towards offer submission to customer.
• To work on the selection of the different components, calculation of the enquiry requirements based on the process requirements. To interact with suppliers for optimization of different equipment.
• To work on the selection & calculations of the different components, equipments, to seek final offers from suppliers after discussing the final technical requirements with suppliers
• To support Manager-Project & Engineering for selection of the techno-commercially competent suppliers
• To support Manager-Project & Engineering for preparation of Project Schedule for submission to customer
• Responsible for mechanical installations, erections, process piping, cip piping, utility piping.
• Responsible for installation of electrical control panels at site.
• To ensure the installation & commissioning of the supplied system at site. To ensure the performance of the supplied system at site
• To ensure the handover of the project to customer with satisfactory performance as per the customer specifications.

Knowledge & Skills required
