Project Engineer
Role Overview
The Project Engineer will work in a multidisciplinary environment with a strong focus on industrial plant engineering projects. The role supports the Project Manager in the technical coordination and execution of the project, ensuring compliance with contractual scope, technical requirements, schedule, and budget.
The Project Engineer acts as a technical interface between the client, engineering disciplines, subcontractors, and suppliers, contributing to the successful delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager in the technical coordination of the project
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities (mechanical, electrical, civil, instrumentation)
- Review and manage engineering deliverables, including drawings, datasheets, and technical specifications
- Interface with suppliers and subcontractors for technical clarifications and document review
- Support project planning, progress monitoring, and reporting activities
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, technical standards, and project procedures
- Participate in technical meetings with the Client and internal teams
- Support cost control activities and budget monitoring, as required
- Prepare and maintain technical and project progress reports
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation, or related disciplines)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles within Engineering Companies or EPC / EPCM projects
- Experience in industrial plants, chemical/Petrochemical, Oil&Gas, Power generation projects is preferred
- Good knowledge of engineering standards and project execution processes

- Strong coordination and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project documentation
- Basic contract and technical documentation analysis skills
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Project Management tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera P6)
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in international projects
- Site or commissioning experience
- Familiarity with Client technical standards and international codes (IEC, IEEE, ASME, API, etc.)
