Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Pune District seeks a Mechanical Engineer with direct field experience in chemical and petrochemical project execution. The role covers the planning and execution of project activities, from enquiry to installation, including erection of structures and piping, and ensuring quality with proper supports and alignment.

The candidate should have 3–4 years exposure to chemical process plants and utilities, familiarity with welding standards, and experience with equipment

Qualifications

• Requires mechanical engineer with direct field experience in chemical/petrochemical project execution.
• Exposure to chemical process plant and related utilities (3–4 years) is essential.
• Experience in fabrication and erection of piping; familiar with piping and welding standards and NDT.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute project activities end-to-end.
• Float enquiry, secure quotations, obtain technical approvals, and install procured items.
• Oversee new projects, erection of structures and equipment, leveling and alignment checks.
• Review GA and isometrics; ensure fabrication quality; erect piping with required supports.

Role & responsibilities

• You will be overall responsible for planning and execution of project activities.
• You will be responsible for floating enquiry, getting quotation, technical approval, installation of procured items.
• You have to look after the new project, erection of structure and equipments, levelling and alignment checking
• GA and Isometrics review and construction of pipelines. Ensuring required quality of fabrication work. Erection and leveling of piping with required supports.

Preferred candidate profile

• Looking for Mechanical Engineer having direct field experience of chemical /petrochemical project execution of
• Chemical process plant and related Utilities of about 3 to 4 years. Exposure is essential to work
• Project experience includes handling of Equipment
• fabrication and Erection of piping, familiar with piping & welding standards ,
• NDT , Equipment erection work , testing, quality control, etc
• Preparing of SOR for project execution which involves equipment loading/unloading/erection, piping fabrication/erection, painting etc.
• Providing specifications for procurement of agitated/non-agitated vessels, equipments, pumps, blowers, piping, valves, special items.
• Follow up with vendors.
