Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Navi Mumbai seeks a Mechanical Engineer with direct field experience on chemical or petrochemical project execution. You will oversee planning and execution of project activities, coordinate inquiries, quotations, approvals, installation, and erection of structures and equipment.

You will review piping isometrics, ensure fabrication quality, plan erection with supports, prepare SORs, and specify equipment, pumps, vessels, piping and valves.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineer with direct field experience in chemical/petrochemical projects.
• 3–4 years in chemical process plant and utilities execution.
• Experience with equipment erection, piping fabrication/erection, and welding standards.
• Familiar with NDT, testing and quality control principles.
• Prepare SOR for equipment loading/unloading, erection, painting, etc.
• Provide specifications for procurement and follow up with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute overall project activities.
• Float enquiries, obtain quotations, secure technical approvals, install procured items.
• Oversee new projects, erection of structures and equipment, levelling and alignment.
• GA and Isometrics review and ensure fabrication quality and proper piping erection with supports.

Role & responsibilities

• You will be overall responsible for planning and execution of project activities.
• You will be responsible for floating enquiry, getting quotation, technical approval, installation of procured items.
• You have to look after the new project, erection of structure and equipments, levelling and alignment checking
• GA and Isometrics review and construction of pipelines. Ensuring required quality of fabrication work. Erection and leveling of piping with required supports.

Preferred candidate profile

• Looking for Mechanical Engineer having direct field experience of chemical /petrochemical project execution of
• Chemical process plant and related Utilities of about 3 to 4 years. Exposure is essential to work
• Project experience includes handling of Equipment
• fabrication and Erection of piping, familiar with piping & welding standards ,
• NDT , Equipment erection work , testing, quality control, etc
• Preparing of SOR for project execution which involves equipment loading/unloading/erection, piping fabrication/erection, painting etc.
• Providing specifications for procurement of agitated/non-agitated vessels, equipments, pumps, blowers, piping, valves, special items.
• Follow up with vendors.
