Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Indore invites a Mechanical Engineer with 3–4 years of direct field experience in chemical/petrochemical project execution. You will oversee planning, erection of structures and equipment, and ensure precision leveling and alignment on site.

You will review GA and Isometrics, supervise piping fabrication and erection, maintain quality standards, and coordinate with vendors to procure and install items as per project needs.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of direct field experience in chemical/petrochemical project execution.
• Experience with equipment loading/unloading and erection, piping fabrication/erection.
• Familiarity with piping standards and NDT may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute project activities on site.
• Floating enquiries, obtaining quotations, securing technical approvals, and installing procured items.
• Oversee new project erection of structures and equipment; ensure levelling and alignment.
• GA and Isometrics review and construction of pipelines; ensure quality of fabrication; erec­tion and leveling of piping with supports.

Role & responsibilities

• You will be overall responsible for planning and execution of project activities.
• You will be responsible for floating enquiry, getting quotation, technical approval, installation of procured items.
• You have to look after the new project, erection of structure and equipments, levelling and alignment checking
• GA and Isometrics review and construction of pipelines. Ensuring required quality of fabrication work. Erection and leveling of piping with required supports.

Preferred candidate profile

• Looking for Mechanical Engineer having direct field experience of chemical /petrochemical project execution of
• Chemical process plant and related Utilities of about 3 to 4 years. Exposure is essential to work
• Project experience includes handling of Equipment
• fabrication and Erection of piping, familiar with piping & welding standards ,
• NDT , Equipment erection work , testing, quality control, etc
• Preparing of SOR for project execution which involves equipment loading/unloading/erection, piping fabrication/erection, painting etc.
• Providing specifications for procurement of agitated/non-agitated vessels, equipments, pumps, blowers, piping, valves, special items.
• Follow up with vendors.
