Job summary

AsmitA India Realty is seeking a Project Engineer – Construction to lead construction activities across structural, civil and finishing stages, supporting the Project Manager in planning, coordination, execution, and delivery while ensuring quality, safety, timelines and cost control.

The role requires strong exposure to finishing works and familiarity with ERP/SAP systems, and involves coordinating site teams, reviewing drawings and BOQs, and ensuring compliance with HSE and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 10 to 12 years of relevant construction project experience.
• Strong experience in both structural and finishing works.
• Ability to lead site teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

Job Summary

The Project Engineer – Construction is responsible for leading and managing construction

activities across structural, civil, and finishing stages of the project. The role supports the

Project Manager in planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring

adherence to quality, safety, timelines, and cost control. Strong exposure to finishing works

and familiarity with ERP/SAP systems is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day construction and finishing activities on site


• Coordinate structural, civil, and finishing works to ensure proper sequencing and timely completion


• Review construction and finishing drawings, specifications, and BOQs


• Plan and monitor project schedules, milestones, manpower, and resources


• Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project finishes, waterproofing) meet approved specifications and mock-ups


• Coordinate with MEP teams to resolve interface and execution issues


• Monitor material usage, productivity, and site progress


• Conduct quality inspections, snagging, de-snagging, and support final handover


• Prepare progress reports, method statements, and technical documentation


• Identify project risks and proactively resolve site issues


• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies


• Support procurement, material approvals, cost tracking, and subcontractor evaluations


• Utilize ERP/SAP systems for material management, reporting, and project controls (where applicable)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent


• 10 to 12 years of relevant construction project experience


• Strong experience in both structural and finishing works


• Ability to lead site teams and manage multiple stakeholders


• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD


• Working knowledge of ERP systems and SAP (added advantage)


• Experience with planning tools (MS Project / Primavera)


• Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use projects
