Job summary

Greencell Mobility is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Lead for depots and project sites in Delhi. You will oversee day-to-day electrical operations, supervise technicians, and ensure reliable power, safety, and uptime across buses and EV charging points.

The role requires hands-on experience with LT/HT systems, DG sets, transformers and distribution, plus strong coordination with vendors and contractors to keep maintenance schedules and records up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of LT/HT systems, panels and transformers.
• Exposure to EV charging infrastructure is a plus.
• Good understanding of electrical safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day electrical maintenance at depot/project site.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot faults to minimize downtime and outages.
• Monitor and maintain LT/HT panels, transformers, DG sets and lighting.
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors and service providers for maintenance.

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day electrical maintenance activities at the depot/project site.
• Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and monitor depot electrical systems, including LT panels, transformers, DG sets, electrical distribution systems, lighting, and other related equipment.
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and service providers for maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure and associated electrical systems.
• Monitor electrical safety, equipment health, and maintenance schedules.
• Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, and maintenance records.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify potential electrical failures before they impact operations.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain adequate availability of critical electrical spares and coordinate for timely procurement.
• Support project teams during installation, commissioning, testing, and handover of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with operations and other maintenance teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted bus operations.
• Lead technicians/electricians and allocate daily maintenance activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience in LT/HT electrical systems, panels, transformers, DG sets, and electrical distribution.
• Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.
• Exposure to EV charging systems will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of electrical safety and statutory compliance.
• Ability to manage vendors, contractors, and technicians.
• Good problem‑solving and analytical skills.
