Job summary

Growth For Impact in Mumbai seeks a Project Manager to oversee renewable energy initiatives from permitting through COD. You will lead governance, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely updates for leadership and stakeholders.

You will implement standardized tools and templates to enhance delivery quality, monitor budgets, and maintain robust documentation and audit readiness across project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in project management or PMO roles.
• Familiarity with renewable project lifecycle from permitting to COD and handover.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track progress of renewable energy projects across stages.

Job description

ROLE

• Monitor and track progress of solar, wind, hybrid, and energy storage projects across various stages
• Establish project governance frameworks, prepare regular MIS/dashboards, and ensure timely updates to senior management and external stakeholders
• Develop and implement standardized tools, templates, and methodologies to ensure consistency and quality in project delivery
• Identify project risks and issues, maintain risk registers, and facilitate mitigation planning with project teams
• Assist in cross-functional resource planning across engineering, procurement, and construction teams
• Serve as a central point of contact between execution teams, finance, legal, and business development for project-related communication
• Work closely with finance and commercial teams to track project budgets, forecasts, and cost variances
• Ensure documentation standards and project audit requirements are met across the project lifecycle

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related fields
• PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification preferred
• 3-7 years of experience in project management or PMO roles, ideally in the renewable energy, infrastructure, or power sectors
• Familiarity with renewable project lifecycle: from permitting to EPC execution to COD and handover
• Strong analytical, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
