Job summary

First Step Babywear seeks an experienced Site Manager to oversee retail project activities, including construction, fit-outs, and interior installations.

You will coordinate contractors, carpenters, electricians, glass vendors, and signage teams to ensure quality finishes that meet brand guidelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 35+ years of experience in retail projects, site management or construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management software (MS Project).
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders and contractors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Interior Design is often preferred.

• Site Management: Supervise daily site activities, including construction, fit-outs, interior, and furniture/lighting installation.
• Vendor Coordination: Act as the primary contact for contractors, carpenters, electricians, glass vendors, and signage teams.
• Project Timelines & Budget: Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget, reporting progress to management.
• Quality Control: Ensure high-quality finishes in compliance with brand guidelines and safety standards.
• Logistics & Inventory: Manage material procurement, delivery, and inventory at the site.
• Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including handover documents and, in some cases, P&L management.
