Job summary

R.M. Phosphates & Chemicals is seeking a Project Coordinator to support planning, execution, and monitoring of ongoing projects at our Mundra site.

The role reports to the Project Consultant and acts as a bridge between project teams, vendors/contractors, and management to ensure on-time, in-scope, within-budget delivery. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional activities, maintaining schedules, tracking progress, and preparing status reports for management reviews.

Qualifications

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or related engineering field.
• Experience: 5–7 years in project coordination, execution, or site engineering roles (adjust by seniority).
• Industry: preference for industrial/infrastructure/manufacturing project environments.

Job description

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support planning, execution, and monitoring of ongoing projects at our Mundra site. The Project Coordinator will report directly to the Project Consultant and will act as a bridge between the project team, vendors/contractors, and management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities across engineering, procurement, and execution teams
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, timelines, and progress trackers
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines; flag delays to management proactively
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and site teams for material, manpower, and equipment coordination
• Maintain project documentation, drawings, work orders, progress reports, MOMs (minutes of meetings)
• Support budget tracking and cost monitoring in coordination with the finance team
• Conduct/support site visits to monitor execution progress and quality compliance
• Assist in preparing project status reports and presentations for management review
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory/regulatory requirements at site
• Coordinate between multiple departments (procurement, engineering, HR, admin) for smooth project execution
• Identify potential risks/bottlenecks and escal
• Manage project management software.

Qualification & Experience:

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech in any Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related)
• Experience: 57 years in project coordination, project execution, or site engineering roles (adjust based on seniority needed)
• Experience in an industrial/infrastructure/manufacturing project environment preferred

Skills:

• Strong coordination and follow-up skills across multiple stakeholders
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project, or similar project tracking tools
• Good understanding of project documentation and reporting
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings/technical specifications
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to work on-site at Mundra and coordinate with cross-functional teams
