At Webindia Master, we work with businesses in India and overseas on website development, e-commerce, mobile application and digital marketing projects. We are looking for a Project Coordinator who can take responsibility for these projects once they are handed over by the sales team.
You will be the main point of contact between the client and our internal team. Your role will involve understanding the client's requirements, planning the work, coordinating with designers and developers, sharing regular updates and ensuring that the project is delivered as agreed.
We are looking for someone who is organised, communicates clearly and takes ownership of their work. You should be comfortable managing several projects at the same time while maintaining a positive relationship with every client.
Clients may sometimes request additional features or changes after the project has started. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for checking whether such requests are covered under the approved scope of work. Any additional requirement should be properly documented and discussed with the technical and sales teams. The revised cost or delivery timeline must be approved before the additional work is started.
You will communicate with both domestic and international clients. Therefore, you should be confident in written and spoken English and comfortable conducting professional calls and online meetings. You should be able to ask the right questions, explain project updates in simple language and manage expectations honestly. Some flexibility may be required for scheduled meetings with international clients in different time zones.
You may be a good fit for this position if you enjoy speaking with clients, organising information and bringing different teams together to complete a project. We need someone who takes initiative and does not wait for repeated reminders. You should be able to notice when something is delayed, follow up with the right person and keep the client informed. You should also understand that good project coordination is not only about completing tasks. It is about maintaining trust, setting clear expectations and making sure that both the client and the internal team have the information they need.
