Job summary

ICF in New Delhi is seeking a senior finance professional to support investment analyses, cost reviews and risk assessments for energy projects at a client site. You will contribute to project finance decisions and ensure robust financial governance.

Location is New Delhi at client location; you will collaborate with funding agencies and financial institutions to mobilise inputs and document decisions for next steps.

Job description

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare financial models and cost analyses to assess investment requirements and scheme interventions.
• Support risk management frameworks (analysis, monitoring and mitigation inputs).
• Coordinate on finance-related tasks with funding agencies, financial institutions and stakeholders, including low-cost funding mobilisation inputs as required.

Minimum qualifications:

Degree in Engineering/Renewable Energy/Power Systems AND MBA/equivalent in Finance.

Minimum experience:

5+ years of relevant experience.

Specific Project Experience:

2+ years’ experience in working in projects relating to financial and commercial review, and/or financial risk assessment relating to energy projects

Preferred competencies / skills:

• Strong financial modelling and analytical rigor.
• Clear writing of assumptions, scenarios and implications for decision-makers.
• Ability to coordinate across agencies and maintain documentation of decisions and next steps.
