Job summary

ICF is seeking a seasoned finance professional for the New Delhi client office to lead financial modelling, risk assessment and funding coordination for energy projects.

Location is Delhi, at client site. The role emphasizes rigorous analysis, clear documentation, and cross-agency collaboration to drive investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Power Systems.
• MBA or equivalent in Finance.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial models and cost analyses to assess investment requirements and scheme interventions.
• Support risk management frameworks (analysis, monitoring and mitigation inputs).
• Coordinate on finance-related tasks with funding agencies, financial institutions and stakeholders, including low-cost funding mobilisation inputs as required.

2+ years’ experience in working in projects relating to financial and commercial review, and/or financial risk assessment relating to energy projects.

Preferred competencies / skills

• Strong financial modelling and analytical rigor.
• Clear writing of assumptions, scenarios and implications for decision-makers.
• Ability to coordinate across agencies and maintain documentation of decisions and next steps.
