Job summary

Alstom Transportation in Coimbatore seeks an experienced Project Configuration and Change Management (PCCM) Leader for a full-time role. You will define the Configuration Management Plan (CMP), lead Change Control Boards, and oversee CCM performance across key projects and products.

You will work with procurement, industrial, tender/project management, and quality teams to ensure configurations are controlled and changes are managed end-to-end, driving continuous improvements and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Management, or a related field
• Experience in configuration and change management, with at least 8 years in a similar role
• Knowledge of railway products, solutions, and systems
• Familiarity with CCM tools (e.g., ALM, EWM, PLM)
• A CMII certification or equivalent is a plus
• Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and cross-functional team management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluency in English
• Systematic, proactive, and detail-oriented approach
• Leadership skills and the ability to influence and guide stakeholders

Youll ensure accuracy, consistency, and traceability of delivered products and services to internal and external customers, keeping configurations under control and managing changes throughout the lifecycle of key projects, programs, or products. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (including procurement, industrial, tender/project management, and quality), lead Configuration and Change Management (CCM) activities, and much more.

Youll specifically take care of defining the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) and leading Change Control Boards, but also monitoring CCM performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
