Alstom in Coimbatore is seeking a seasoned Components Subsystem Manager to oversee the RS Electrical Wiring Harness and cabinet projects and ensure QCD commitments. You will drive planning, change control, and cross‑functional collaboration with teams across Industrial, Finance, Quality, Sourcing and Supply Chain.

We value leadership, communication and a proactive approach. The role requires 15+ years in project management, a relevant electrical/mechanical background and PMP/IPMA certification

Qualifications

• 15+ years of project management experience preferred.
• Experience with international teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of rail industry standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead RS Electrical Wiring Harness and Cubicle sub-system project.
• Plan from Notice to Proceed to warranty; manage changes and variations.
• Ensure QCD objectives and financial reporting; manage risks and opportunities.
• Communicate deliverables clearly to stakeholders; organize project teams.

Could you be the full-time Components Subsystem Manager in Coimbatore were looking for

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated, collaborative, and innovative teammates.

You'll lead and execute the RS Electrical Wiring Harness and cabinet sub-system Project, ensuring QCD commitments are met in line with Project EDC Electrical requirements. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Industrial, Finance, Quality, Sourcing, Supply Chain), organize the project, build the project team, and much more.You'll specifically take care of the detailed planning from Notice to Proceed to end of Warranty, ensure strong Change configuration management, and manage variation orders.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring commercial success and customer satisfaction, considering all stakeholders.
• Leading the RS Electrical Harness and Cubicle project to meet QCD objectives
• Clear communication of deliverables and goals to internal external stakeholders
• Effective control of the budget and financial reporting
• Identification and management of risks and opportunities

Contributing to continuous improvement actions and knowledge sharing

• Graduate and Post Graduate in (Electrical/Mechanical) degree
• Experience or understanding of Project Management (15+ yrs preferred)

• Proven leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent communication and motivational skills
