Job summary

Sumo India in Pune is seeking experienced programmers to craft high-quality source code for games across console, PC and mobile. You will collaborate with designers to implement features, fix bugs with QA, and ensure platform compliance for multiple engines in a global development setting.

The role emphasizes deep C++ skills, 3D graphics knowhow, and prior shipped titles, with exposure to UE5, Unity or CryEngine. Strong communication and source-control use are essential.

Qualifications

Proficiency in C++, with proven commercial experience.
Practical experience with 3D programming and mathematics.
Working experience in game development.
Excellent communication skills.
Worked on at least one released game and experience with multiple current generation game engines (UE5, Unity, CryEngine, Source etc.).
Experience working with source control systems.
3-5 years’ experience in the games industry.
Contributed to shipped titles on console games.
C#, JavaScript or Python programming experience.
Graphics systems (3D graphics, animation, camera control, lighting, materials and shaders) knowhow.
Experience working as per guidelines for the relevant game platforms.
Knowledge of the requirements placed on gameplay code by a multiplayer networked game.
