Job summary

Sumo India in Pune is seeking experienced Programmers to help bring ambitious game experiences to life. You will work from our Pune studio and collaborate with teams across India and the UK on console, PC and mobile titles.

Must have strong C++能力, 3D programming, and proven game development experience, including released titles and multiple engines (UE5, Unity, CryEngine, Source). You will contribute high-quality code and work closely with designers and QA.

Qualifications

Proficient in C++, with commercial experience.
Hands-on 3D programming and mathematics.
Experience in game development.
Excellent communication skills.
Worked on at least one released game across engines (UE5, Unity, CryEngine, Source).
Experience with source control systems.

Responsibilities

Write and be accountable for high-quality source code.
Work with designers to implement game features to established specifications.
Liaise with Quality Assurance to fix bugs.
Ensure the game is compliant with each platform owner's technical requirements.

Must have skills

Proficiencyin C++, with proven commercial experience.
Practical experience with 3D programming and mathematics.
Working experience in gamedevelopment.
Excellent communication skills.
Worked on at least one released game and experience withmultiplecurrent generationgameengines(UE5, Unity,CryEngine, Sourceetc.).
Experienceworkingwithsource control systems.

It would be great if you also have:

3-5 years' experience in the games industry.
Contributedto shipped titles on console games.
C#,JavaScriptor Python programmingexperience.
Graphics systems (3D graphics, animation, camera control, lighting,materialsand shaders)knowhow.
Experienceworkingas perguidelines for the relevantgameplatforms.
Knowledge of the requirements placed on gameplay code by a multiplayer networked game.
