Job summary

Wadhwani AI is seeking a Public Health Program Manager to collaborate with state teams, deploying AI-enabled health solutions and providing operational support across facilities and districts. You will coordinate with government officials, monitor performance, and document learnings from initiatives.

The role requires 2–8 years in public health, a Master’s degree in Public Health or related field, and willingness to travel within and outside the state as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field with a Master’s in Public Health or related field.
• 2–8 years of public health experience, especially in government health systems.
• Experience with digital health and AI initiatives in public health.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate by tracking indicators, analyzing data, and reporting insights.
• Support training and capacity building of healthcare workers through workshops.

• Strengthen scalable digital health ecosystems and AI tool integration.
• Document project progress, outcomes, and learnings.
• Willingness to travel within and outside the state as required.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the reporting manager.

Job Description

• Collaborate with state program teams to support deployment of AI-enabled solutions.
• Provide technical and operational support for smooth implementation across facilities and districts of the state.
• Coordinate with government officials, internal teams, and stakeholders for effective project execution and issue resolution.
• Manage monitoring and evaluation by tracking performance indicators, analyzing data, and preparing periodic reports and insights.
• Support training and capacity building of healthcare workers through workshops and on-ground hand holding.
• Provide field-level troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution of implementation challenges.
• Contribute to strengthening scalable digital health ecosystems and integration of AI tools into routine systems.
• Document project progress, outcomes, challenges, and key learnings.
• Willingness to travel within and outside the state as required.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the reporting manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field, complemented by a Master’s in Public Health (MPH), Health Management, or Community Medicine.
• 2–8 years of experience in public health, particularly within government health systems, with a focus on digital health and AI initiatives.
• Deep understanding of ground realities and implementation challenges in areas such as MNCH, TB, NCDs, IDSP, CPHC, and Quality of Care.
• Prior experience in MNCH and TB–HIV programs is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the Indian healthcare landscape, particularly the Ayushman Bharat initiative and National Health Mission (NHM) strategies.
