Job summary

Wadhwani AI seeks a seasoned public health professional to lead collaboration with state health authorities. You will support deployment of AI-enabled health solutions, manage stakeholder relations, and drive capacity-building initiatives across MNCH, TB, and NHM programs.

You will travel as needed, document outcomes, and contribute to scalable, impactful AI deployments in public health across India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with MPH/Health Management/Community Medicine focus.
• 5–12 years in public health, esp. with government health systems and digital health.
• Experience with MNCH, TB, NCDs, NHM/Ayushman Bharat context is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with state leads and govt depts to deploy AI-enabled health solutions.
• Coordinate stakeholders, ensure timely reporting and project milestones.
• Train healthcare providers in AI applications and capacity-building activities.

Job Description

• Collaborate with state leads and provide technical support to govt depts in deploying different AI-enabled solutions.
  
• Manage government dept/officials to ensure smooth project management and timely reporting.
  
• Contribute to establishing innovative ecosystems for scalable AI solutions, ensuring continuity of care.
  
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to assess needs and foster a supportive environment for AI implementation.
  
• Capacity Building: Conduct and facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance healthcare providers’ skills in AI applications.
  
• Hands-On Support and Troubleshooting: Provide direct support and troubleshoot challenges during AI usage.
  
• Coordinate with internal staff and consultants to ensure effective project implementation.
  
• Willingness to travel within the state or nationally, as required.
  
• Document project outcomes, successes, challenges, and lessons learned.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field, complemented by a Master’s in Public Health (MPH), Health Management, or Community Medicine.
  
• 5–12 years of experience in public health, particularly within government health systems, with a focus on digital health and AI initiatives.
  
• Deep understanding of ground realities and implementation challenges in areas such as MNCH, TB, NCDs, IDSP, CPHC, and Quality of Care.
  
• Prior experience in MNCH and TB–HIV programs is advantageous.
  
• Strong understanding of the Indian healthcare landscape, particularly the Ayushman Bharat initiative and National Health Mission (NHM) strategies.
  
• Fluency in local(Marathi) language.
