To strengthen organizational safety performance through governance, incident learning, ergonomic risk management, audit deployment, safety culture enhancement, engineering standard development, and effective implementation of corporate safety initiatives across manufacturing operations.
Establish and maintain a structured cadence for incident learning reviews across the site.
Ensure timely communication of incident learnings to all relevant stakeholders.
Track closure of corrective and preventive actions arising from incidents.
Present periodic status updates to site leadership on open and closed actions.
Monitor effectiveness of implemented corrective actions and share best practices.
Plan and schedule Manufacturing Safety Index (MSI) audits on a quarterly basis.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and auditors for audit execution.
Track audit findings and ensure timely closure of observations.
Analyze audit trends and recommend improvement opportunities.
Maintain audit records and compliance documentation.
Conduct ergonomic assessments for new processes, equipment installations, and workplace modifications.
Identify ergonomic risk factors and recommend engineering and administrative controls.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and ergonomics teams during design reviews.
Monitor implementation and effectiveness of ergonomic improvement actions.
Develop ergonomic assessment standards and checklists.
Track and monitor Life Saving Rules (LSR) and Golden Safety Rules (GSR) compliance across operations.
Analyze trends in safety rule violations and identify recurring issues.
Review DARC (Deviation Analysis & Risk Control) recommendations and implementation status.
Facilitate closure of high-risk deviations and corrective actions.
Provide periodic management reports on compliance performance.
Prepare and present quarterly MSI performance updates for:
Monitor performance trends against established safety benchmarks.
Highlight gaps, improvement opportunities, and best practices.
Support business units in achieving MSI targets.
Manage suppliers and contractors related to:
Evaluate new safety technologies and innovation opportunities.
Coordinate vendor performance reviews and service level compliance.
Support implementation of digital and technology-driven safety initiatives.
Establish a regular review cadence for the organization’s 9 Thematic Safety Program Areas.
Coordinate with respective program managers and ambassadors.
Monitor progress against annual safety improvement plans.
Track implementation of action items and improvement projects.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
Develop and update engineering safety standards based on operational requirements and industry best practices.
Integrate process safety, machine safety, ergonomics, and risk management requirements into standards.
Collaborate with engineering, projects, and manufacturing teams during standard development.
Review standards periodically for regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.
Support implementation through training, audits, and assessments.
