Job summary

Google is seeking a Program Manager for EHS to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will coordinate with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage schedules, identify risks, and communicate progress across offices and time zones.

As a PM at Google, you will drive safety design reviews with engineering and facilities teams while ensuring compliance with India EHS regulations. This role requires strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience in environmental regulations and safety management.
• Experience in EHS management systems or managing EHS compliance including environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Proven capability to translate complex technical Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) risks into executive-level insight for business stakeholders.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessment and oversee high-risk activities including Lockout-tagout (LOTO), electrical work (arc flash), hot work, working at heights, and confined spaces and lead root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents/near-misses, implementing corrective and preventative action (CAPA).
• Travel up to 50% of the time and be onsite full time, 5 days per week as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and facility teams to review safety design in line with local regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and people management skills.
