Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead data center services and infrastructure initiatives, collaborating with partners, customers and engineers to drive execution.

You will develop plans, manage programs end-to-end and provide detailed project status through documentation and reports. The role requires strong quantitative analysis, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and effective cross-functional coordination.

• Manage various programs of work, engage teams and engineers, set the pace for development, deployment and delivery of data center services and infrastructure.
• Use technical judgment to drive project delivery, technology reviews, challenge proposals and build consensus.
• Analyze services performance and system performance data, translate into recommendations and actionable plans and provide strong quantitative analysis.
• Present team’s analyses and recommendations to internal stakeholders, including executive management. Take accountability for driving the project deliverables.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program or project management.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in data center construction, fit-out and services programs.
• Experience in managing data center infrastructure and fit out projects, and managing partners and stakeholders. Experience with vendor management.
• Experience in the use and customization of project management tools.
• Experience in the project management of complex projects. Comfort with operating in a high-paced, changing work environment with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks, manage time efficiently and navigate ambiguity.
• Knowledge of green field civil construction, construction permit and statutory requirements, local industry standards.
• Working knowledge of finance as applied to project/program management.

You will analyse service performance and system performance data and translate into recommendations and actionable plans. You will provide strong quantitative analysis focus, requiring interpretation of technical and commercial information from structured and unstructured sources.
