Job summary

Tekgence, Inc. is seeking a senior technology leader with 15+ years in J2EE, Microservices, and Banking domain expertise to drive large-scale programs for Indian PSU banks. The role requires strong PM capabilities, P&L oversight, and governance across onsite-offshore teams.

You will oversee end-to-end delivery, collaborate with business to extract requirements, and ensure timely, compliant project execution while mentoring a large delivery team.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technical leadership experience in J2EE, Microservice, Containerization, Spring, Oracle technology, preferably in Banking Domain.
• Extensive experience with application development using the J2EE technology stack for a service oriented architecture and deep understanding of data models.
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail with ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration and negotiations skills.
• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written; articulate; must be able to communicate effectively with business executives.
• Strong mentoring skills, team building, and leadership; experience leading large onsite/offshore delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, documentation and support of high quality, reliable mission critical applications.
• Collaborate with business to identify new requirements and lead technology teams to deliver them.
• Lead a large team of resources and manage program governance and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure delivery of NPA/Loan/Retail/Corporate/Digital Banking services; manage T&M and fixed-price projects.
• Provide front-to-back solutions with onsite-offshore delivery and ensure adherence to SLAs.

Job description

Experience- 15 to 25 Years

Location:- Navi Mumbai, Chennai

Immediate to 30 days joiners only

Work mode:- Work from office (Monday to Friday plus 1st, 3rd & 5th Saturday every month)

Skills required:--

• Strong technical foundation in Java and Microservices.
• Progression from hands-on technical roles into a Program Management position.
• Experience managing large-scale banking programs for Indian PSU Banks through IT services organizations.
• Demonstrated exposure to P&L management, estimation, governance, delivery management, and stakeholder management.

Banking domain Experience is Must for this role

• Oversee the development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, documentation and support of high quality, reliable & mission critical applications to meet the business needs
• Collaborate with the business to identify new business requirements and lead the technology team to deliver those requirements
• NPA/Loan/Retail/Corporate/Digital Banking exposure is must.
• T&M & Fixed Price Project handling and experience is needed.
• Partner with the other application development teams to front to back solutions that benefit the business
• Having an oversight responsibility for the related J2EE / Microservices Technologies teams in Onsite-Offshore model
• Lead a large team of resources
• Experiences in participating & running garages, review user journeys and measure the outcome & report
• Chair the review meetings.

Requirements:
