Job summary

Capco in Pune, India, is seeking a seasoned project governance professional with 8-12 years of experience to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for complex programmes. The role focuses on roadmap alignment, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement to deliver strategic outcomes in financial services projects.

The candidate will work within Capco's global delivery model, interacting with senior partners and client teams to ensure on-time, on-budget program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, variance analysis, and financial reporting, ensuring full visibility and control of programme expenditure.
• Develop, maintain, and govern the project roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, milestones, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Drive resource planning and allocation, ensuring the right skills and capacity are aligned to programme priorities and delivery commitments.
• Establish and maintain RACI frameworks, clearly defining accountability, ownership, and decision-making responsibilities across stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Conduct regular delivery governance and daily follow-ups with team members to track progress, manage risks and issues, ensure timely task completion, and proactively remove delivery blockers.
• Produce accurate status reporting, providing senior stakeholders with clear insights into programme health, financial performance, resource utilization, and delivery progress.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder engagement
