Job summary

Google Operations Center in India is seeking a Senior Specialist in Program Management to keep marketing campaigns aligned across product marketing managers, production project managers, and development teams. You will drive planning, execution, and quality of email campaigns.

You will close gaps, troubleshoot escalations, monitor health in Growth tools, and explore AI-enabled enhancements to increase efficiency while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management across cross-functional teams.
• 2–3 years managing high-complexity email campaigns.
• Advanced proficiency with email marketing tools (Marketo, Eloqua, HubSpot).
• Basic HTML/CSS understanding for QA and troubleshooting.

Program Management Senior Specialist is the glue that keeps all the elements of an owned marketing channel campaign (i.e. email) project together. They are well organized project managers, excellent communicators, proactive problem solvers and technical subject matter experts well versed in growth marketing. They are the connective tissue between the business (product marketing managers), production project managers and development team. They ensure projects are well defined, and delivered on time and meet quality standards.

Position Responsibilities:

• Partner with product marketing managers (PMMs) in campaign ideation and intake document formulation

• Project manage campaign development and deployment

• Manage campaign deployment in Internal Growth tools, monitor campaign health

• Troubleshoot and solve escalations

• Keep things organized

• Drive innovation and thrive for excellence

• Proactively look for ways to improve the process to drive efficiency and reduce risk such as through implementing AI tools in the email creative or production processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Overall 5+ years of experience in project management roles, coordinating projects across multiple organizations/cross functional teams.
• Complex Email Campaign Management: 2-3 years of proven ability to manage high-complexity, interdependent email campaigns, anticipating risks across multiple systems and stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment.
• Email Marketing Technology Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in primary email marketing technology tools (e.g., Marketo, Eloqua, Hubspot etc.) with the ability to learn and navigate independently across multiple platforms.
• Technical Proficiency (HTML): Basic understanding of web development, HTML/CSS & QA processes, with the ability to identify root causes, troubleshoot technical issues, and architect resilient solutions.”
• Strategic Client Handling: Advanced client handling skills with a track record of acting as a strategic advisor, understanding scope and providing estimates that align with long-term business goals.
• Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools to interpret performance results and recommend strategic improvements to stakeholders.
• Communication: Strong, polished, and professional communication skills required for interacting with stakeholders and leading the production team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of marketing operations, processes, business requirements.
• Proactive and curious attitude, strong problem solving skills.
• Familiarity using GenAI (generative AI) for email marketing content, production and optimization.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities and a high volume of projects.
