Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Mumbai seeks a Project Lead/Construction Manager with 3+ years of experience to plan, supervise, and coordinate mixed-use and commercial developments on-site. You will manage subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, read technical drawings, and maintain client communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualification includes BE/Bachelor’s in Civil/Construction management; PMP preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop, implement, and track detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, including obtaining necessary permits.
• Site Management & Supervision: Oversee on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations (OSHA) and quality standards.
• Subcontractor & Resource Management: Hire, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors, laborers, and staff, ensuring resources are optimized.
• Communication & Reporting: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects, and engineers, providing regular progress updates.
• Problem Resolution: Proactively identify risks, troubleshoot, and remove obstacles to maintain project momentum.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Proven experience (typically 3+ years) as a Project Lead, Construction Manager, or similar role.
• Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills, with proficiency in reading technical drawings and using construction management software.
• Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certifications are preferred.
