Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Mumbai seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead site execution and commissioning for electrical installations across real estate projects.

The role requires 8–10 years in simulations with developers or EPC contractors, deep HT/LT distribution knowledge, and strong vendor management and leadership skills. On-site, with 48 hours weekly, this position offers growth in a global real estate leader.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience with real estate developers, EPC contractors, or heavy industrial/building service firms.
• Deep knowledge of HT/LT distribution, panel design (APFC, PCC, MCC) and ELV systems.
• Strong vendor management, team leadership, stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Site Execution & Coordination: manage MEP/electrical contractors, review shop drawings, ensure site safety and compliance.
• Testing & Commissioning: oversee energization, testing and handover of electrical installations and power systems.
• Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: diagnose site failures, implement CAPA plans and address queries from clients/consultants.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: enforce local electrical inspectorate norms and earthing standards on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Execution & Coordination: Managing MEP/electrical contractors, reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring site compliance with Indian and international safety codes.
• Testing and Commissioning: Overseeing the energization, testing, and handover of electrical installations, transformers, switchgears, and power distribution systems.
• Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: Diagnosing complex site failures, managing corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans, and resolving client or consultant technical queries.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: Enforcing strict adherence to local electrical inspectorate norms, earthing standards, and site safety policies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 8 to 10 years working with real estate developers, EPC contractors, or heavy industrial/building service firms.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in HT/LT distribution, panel design (APFC, PCC, MCC), cabling standards, and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems.
• Soft Skills: Vendor management, team leadership, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional coordination
• Years of Experience - 8-10 years of experience in Hotel, MIxed use project, Retail and commercial.
• Location: On-site –Mumbai, MH
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 48
