Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Mumbai, MH, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Project lead to oversee site execution and integration of mechanical systems for mixed-use projects. You will supervise installation, testing and commissioning while coordinating with on-site teams.

You will apply hydraulics, HVAC design and Navisworks/Revit MEP skills, ensure safety/compliance with ASHRAE/NBC/OSHA, and drive client communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–10 years' experience in mixed-use, hotel, or retail projects.
• Strong hydraulics, HVAC and rotating equipment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Site Execution: supervise installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical components.
• System Maintenance: oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of equipment.
• Troubleshooting: diagnose critical on-site mechanical faults to reduce downtime.
• Team Leadership: mentor junior site engineers and coordinate with civil/electrical teams.
• Compliance & Reporting: ensure safety standards compliance and document logs.

Key Role Responsibilities

• Site Execution: Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical components at project sites.
• System Maintenance: Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of construction plant equipment, hoists, or installed HVAC/pumping systems.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose critical mechanical faults on-site to reduce operational downtime.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior site engineers and coordinate with civil or electrical teams.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to safety norms (ASHRAE, NBC, or OSHA standards) and sign off on service/inspection logs.

Core Skills Needed

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of hydraulics, rotating equipment, or HVAC design.
• Software Literacy: Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, or Revit MEP for drawing reviews.
• Management: Strong vendor coordination, spare parts management, and client communication.

Qualification - Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Years of Experience - 8-10 Years in mixed use project, hotel, retail commercial projects.

Location: On-site – Mumbai, MH.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 48.
