Job summary

Planys Technologies seeks an Autonomous Defence Lead to drive design, integration, testing and deployment of autonomous unmanned systems for defence and strategic applications.

You will lead cross-functional teams to develop UAV/UUV/ROV/UGV platforms, own architecture, validate through field trials and push products from concept to deployment in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading autonomous defence robotics projects.
• Strong hands-on engineering and technical leadership.
• Ability to take autonomous systems from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of UAV/UUV/ROV/UGV and autonomous robotic systems.
• Own system architecture, integration, validation and field trials.
• Drive product development from concept to deployment.
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams across mechanical, electronics, embedded and autonomy systems.
• Work on navigation, sensing, control, mission planning and autonomous operations.
• Coordinate with customers, defence stakeholders, vendors and internal teams.
• Drive technical reviews, troubleshooting, risk management and product improvements.
