Job summary

Piramal Finance is seeking an experienced Application Support professional for Bengaluru, India. The role focuses on supporting Java-based SaaS applications, incident and problem management, and Linux administration.

You will work with REST APIs, microservices, and databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL, using tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Loki, JIRA, and ServiceNow. You will need strong scripting skills (Shell/Python) and excellent analytical abilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in Application Support / Production Support environments.
• Strong understanding of Java-based applications and SaaS platforms.
• Experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Hands-on Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices, and Kafka.
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Grafana, Kibana and Loki.
• Experience with JIRA and ServiceNow.
• Strong scripting skills using Shell and/or Python.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.

• Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools such as:

• Experience with ticketing tools like JIRA and ServiceNow.
