Job summary

Allegis Group is seeking a capable integration engineer to coordinate maintenance, DR activities and release management across multiple applications. You will analyze incidents, run post-deployment checks, and liaise with development teams to ensure smooth production transitions.

The role requires strong Java/Spring Boot skills, GCP knowledge, and experience with networking, Python and Unix/Linux. You will also work with monitoring tools, ServiceNow, CI/CD pipelines and Kafka to resolve issues

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL scripts and stored procedures.
• Experience with writing and debugging Java/Spring Boot applications.
• Understanding of GCP infrastructure and networking.
• Familiarity with monitoring dashboards (Prometheus/Grafana).
• Experience with incident/change management and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support maintenance activities and DR activities.
• Schedule and lead incident, release calls and deploys.
• Log, analyse, test and close incidents and problems.
• Perform post deployment checks after production deployment.
• Coordinate releases across upstream and downstream for multiple applications.

Role & responsibilities

.

• Coordinate and support maintenance activities, DR activities.
• Sufficient knowledge of writing SQL Scripts and Stored procedures
• Arrange and lead various calls like incident call, release call.
• Manage incidents/problemrecords by logging, analysing, testing, updating
• status of issues, follow up and successful closure of issues Perform post deployment checkouts after production deployment.
• Scheduling and coordinating releases(deployments)across the upstream and downstream for multiple application

• Coordinate with development teams to discuss the changes planned in
• production, verify UAT signoffs and support deployments for change
• transition to production.
• Summarizing weekly reports, production performance, deployment release notes for upgrades and troubleshooting guides; troubleshooting client issues with high level data analysis and project review

Preferred candidate profile

Java / Spring Boot

Understand application architecture, code flow, troubleshooting, and debugging to identify root causes and guide the development team.

Good understanding of the GCP ecosystem, particularly cloud infrastructure and networking.

Troubleshoot connectivity issues and identify whether failures originate from the application or network.
