Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Surat, Gujarat, is seeking a production supervisor to oversee day-to-day assembly and production operations on the shop floor. You will ensure targets are met efficiently, safely, and in line with quality standards.

Responsibilities include supervising assembly/production line activities, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, maintaining schedules, tracking metrics, and implementing 5S or process-improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising shop-floor production and assembly lines.
• Ability to ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Strong task delegation and performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with 5S and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of electrical insulation materials is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/MRP systems.
