Job summary

Hitachi Energy India Limited in Bengaluru seeks an experienced procurement and production operations professional to manage indirect and direct sourcing, supplier selection, pricing terms, order processing, contract administration, and supplier performance.

You will lead lean manufacturing initiatives, apply Six Sigma, 5S, and DMAIC, plan work schedules, manage shifts, train trainees, ensure daily production goals and safety compliance, and maintain charts and reports.

Qualifications

• BE Electrical or Mechanical with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Diploma or Engineering qualification as technical base.
• Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, 5S and DMAIC.
• Proficient English (spoken and written).
• Experience handling trainees and shift planning.

Responsibilities

• Execute and maintain Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Apply Six Sigma, 5S, DMAIC methodologies.

Candidate Background

• Gemba board & chart; shift wise production data; safety incident reports in intelex
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
