Job summary

Miju Components seeks a production supervisor to lead a 20-member team across three shifts. You will plan and execute production processes, meet targets, ensure quality, and monitor safety and 5S at the workplace.

You will supervise manpower, coordinate with maintenance, train workers on processes, identify bottlenecks, implement Kaizen for cost and efficiency improvements, and maintain production records in the system and on documents.

Qualifications

• Candidate from CIPET institute preferred.
• Experience in leading a production team and coordinating multiple shifts.
• Ability to plan, execute and monitor production processes with focus on quality and cost.

Responsibilities

• Work in three shifts and supervise a team of ~20 workers.
• Plan and execute the production process to meet targets.
• Monitor quality standards and implement Kaizen for process improvements.
• Coordinate with maintenance and handover between shifts.
• Train workers on processes and maintain safety and 5S at the workplace.
• Maintain production records in the system and on documents.
• Identify bottlenecks and resolve issues to ensure smooth operations.

• Work in 3 shift
• Manpower handling and supervision
• Responsible for planning and execution of the production process.
• Meet production targets by delegating tasks to workers and meeting quality standards.
• Closely monitoring the production team (team size 20 workers).
• Inventory management as well as making raw materials readily available .
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and suggest improvements for improving production/costs.
• Manpower planning for various machines as well as multiple shifts.
• Training workers on various processes.
• Identify production bottlenecks and resolve issues.
• Provide a performance review for all workers at regular intervals.
• KAIZEN for process improvement
• Closely monitor the machine , and coordinate with maintenance team as and when required
• Handover with other shift supervisors
