Job summary

Aeron Composite is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring targets are met on time and within budget while maintaining high quality. The role involves managing shop-floor labor, machine efficiency, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include planning production schedules, quality monitoring to meet ASTM/ISO standards, and preparing daily reports for the Production Manager. Strong leadership and experience in FRP/GRP/composites are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily production schedule and allocate manpower across Pultrusion, Moulding, or Fabrication.
• Monitor quality to meet ASTM/ISO standards and internal benchmarks.
• Supervise and train workers; manage attendance, shifts, and KPIs.
• Monitor resin systems and fiberglass usage to minimize waste and ensure inventory.
• Oversee basic preventive maintenance and report breakdowns promptly.
• Enforce PPE use and safety protocols on the shop floor.
• Prepare daily production, wastage, and efficiency reports for the Production Manager.

Job description

Role Objective

• The Production Supervisor will oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met on time, within budget, and in compliance with high-quality standards
• This role involves managing shop-floor labor, ensuring machine efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Execute the daily production schedule and allocate manpower to various stations (Pultrusion, Moulding, or Fabrication).
• Quality Control: Monitor the production process to ensure products meet ASTM/ISO standards and Aerons internal quality benchmarks.
• Labor Management: Supervise, train, and motivate workers and operators. Manage attendance, shifts, and productivity KPIs.
• Material Management: Monitor raw material consumption (resins, glass fibers, etc.) to minimize wastage and ensure inventory availability.
• Machine Maintenance: Oversee basic preventive maintenance of machinery and report technical breakdowns to the maintenance team promptly.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure all safety protocols are followed on the shop floor.
• Reporting: Prepare daily production reports (DPR), wastage reports, and efficiency logs for the Production Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, or Plastic Engineering.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setup (experience in FRP/GRP/Composites or Pultrusion processes is highly preferred).

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of resin systems and fiberglass reinforcement.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel/ERP software).

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
