Job summary

Basilllia Organics Pvt Ltd. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the food processing area to supervise daily manufacturing operations and ensure adherence to SOPs and GMP/5S standards.

The role requires managing manpower, machines, materials, and methods, with rotations in shifts and an emphasis on safety and quality. The candidate should have 1–3 years in a supervisory role in food processing or a related field, with freshers also welcome if they have strong knowledge of food processing and

Qualifications

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations to meet production plans and delivery schedules.
• Monitor production output, cycle time, downtime, rejection, and rework.
• Ensure SOPs, safety standards, and quality systems (GMP/5S as applicable).
• Coordinate with Maintenance to reduce breakdowns and improve machine uptime.
• Train, guide, and evaluate operators and line leaders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shift-wise production reports and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, Lean, and 5S.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions on the shop floor.

Job description

Role: Production Supervisor (Food processing industry)

Immediate joiners only / Rotational shifts

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations to meet production plans and delivery schedules.
• Manage manpower, machines, materials, and methods (4M) effectively.
• Monitor production output, cycle time, downtime, rejection, and rework.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and quality systems (GMP/5S as applicable).
• Coordinate with Maintenance to reduce breakdowns and improve machine uptime.
• Work closely with Quality to resolve defects and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain shift-wise production reports and documentation.
• Monitor raw material usage and minimize wastage
• Maintain production reports, batch records, and shift documentation
• Coordinate with quality, purchase, and maintenance teams
• Maintain GMP, hygiene, and food safety standards in the production area
• Train, guide, and evaluate operators and line leaders.
• Report production issues, breakdowns, and deviations to management.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions on the shop floor.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, Lean, and 5S.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Graduation or post-graduation in Food Technology/Agriculture or relevant field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in supervisory/production role with food processing or relevant industry.
• Freshers with good knowledge of food processing and safety are welcome to apply
