Job summary

Global Polymers in India is seeking an experienced Production Manager / Production In-Charge with hands-on expertise in EVA and Stockfit sole manufacturing. You will manage day-to-day production, ensure targets and quality, and coordinate manpower and machinery on the shop floor.

The role emphasizes planning, bottleneck avoidance, material readiness, and cross-functional collaboration with Merchandising, Stores, Quality, Maintenance and Production teams to ensure timely orders.

Qualifications

• Experience in EVA sole production and Stockfit processes.
• Strong knowledge of moulding, production planning and shop-floor operations.
• Ability to manage line efficiency and production targets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily and weekly production execution plans based on order priorities and delivery schedules.
• Analyze line efficiency, machine availability and workforce capacity to allocate production effectively and avoid bottlenecks.
• Conduct material readiness checks and proactively identify shortages that may cause production delays or line stoppages.
• Issue job cards and daily production target sheets to line supervisors and monitor achievement against planned targets.
• Track WIP (Work-in-Progress) movement across different production stages.
• Regularly monitor production activities on the shop floor and identify delays, bottlenecks and capacity-related issues.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Stores, Quality, Maintenance and Production teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.

The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day sole production activities, ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved, coordinating manpower and machinery, monitoring material availability, and ensuring timely completion of production orders.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of EVA sole production, Stockfit processes, moulding, production planning and shop-floor operations and should be comfortable working directly on the production floor.
