Job summary

First Meridian Business Services in Tamil Nadu is seeking a Factory Head / Technical Head for footwear soling to lead plant operations and drive improvements across production planning, technical operations and quality.

The role requires 15–20+ years in footwear manufacturing with strong knowledge of rubber/EVA compounding, moulding and quality systems. You will lead the production and technical teams, oversee capacity expansion and coordinate with customers.

Qualifications

• 15–20+ years in footwear/rubber/EVA soling manufacturing.
• Experience in sports footwear components preferred.
• Strong knowledge of rubber/EVA compounding, moulding, injection and quality.
• Proven factory leadership / plant transformation experience.
• Willingness to relocate to Tamil Nadu.

Responsibilities

• Lead Rubber & EVA compounding, moulding, EVA injection, stockfitting and outsole painting.
• Strengthen production planning, capacity planning and quality systems.
• Drive technical improvements and process excellence for international sports footwear standards.
• Lead plant turnaround, productivity and quality improvement initiatives.
• Build and manage the production and technical team.
• Handle customer audits, process validation and technical specifications.
• Drive capacity expansion, new product introduction and machinery upgrades.
