Job summary

Saaki Argus And Averil Consulting is seeking a Payment and Compliance Production Specialist to provide production support for banking applications, debugging issues, training users, testing code, and deploying upgrades. The role reports to the Director of Production Support.

You will manage incident response, analyze issues, deploy changes, build reporting tools, and work with business teams to improve applications, with leadership when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting banking applications and incident response.
• Knowledge of ISO 20022, SEPA or compliance processes (KYC, AML).
• Proficient in debugging with backend queries and scripting.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

About the role:

Role Summary

Our Client is hiring a Payment and Compliance Production Specialist to provide production support for banking applications debugging technical issues, training users, testing new code, and deploying upgrades. The role reports to the Director of Production Support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage support teams and handle incident response for service outages
• Analyze issues and create quick fixes
• Deploy code changes/upgrades to test and production environments
• Build and maintain reporting tools and scripts for smooth application performance
• Work with business teams to understand user needs and improve applications
• Advise developers on business requirements and future feature plans
• Help key users resolve issues and guide them on best practices
• Run regular team meetings to review incidents and improve processes, with a focus on automation

Key Qualifications

• Strong skills in support/reporting tools and incident management
• Solid knowledge of payments (ISO 20022, SEPA) and/or compliance processes (KYC, AML, sanctions screening)
• Good understanding of backend query tools, scripting, and coding for debugging
• Ability to advise business teams on application planning and implementation
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Self-driven,disciplined, and able to work well in a team, with leadership ability when needed
• Highly accountable and skilled at managing multiple priorities
