Job summary

Topgear Consultants is seeking a Shift Incharge Production in Nagpur with experience in pharmaceutical API, excipient, or chemical manufacturing. You will manage shift production activities, manpower, equipment operations, and ensure GMP/SOP compliance.

You will coordinate with Production Manager/Plant In-Charge, review BPR/BCR, maintain production records, and drive CAPA to improve quality and efficiency.

• Lead and supervise production operators, manage shift-wise manpower allocation.
• Implement CAPA for deviations, incidents, and audit observations.

Job description:

• Report to the Production Manager; in their absence, report to the Plant In-Charge.
• Plan and execute shift production activities in coordination with the Production Manager/Plant In-Charge.
• Ensure departmental maintenance, housekeeping, and equipment compliance with SOP and GMP requirements.
• Support equipment qualification, utility qualification, and process/cleaning validation activities.
• Report production deviations and incidents promptly to the Production Manager or Plant In-Charge.
• Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and compliance with approved manufacturing processes.
• Review Batch Production Records (BPR), Batch Control Records (BCR), and related production documents.
• Maintain accurate production records and monitor ongoing activities through the team.
• Implement CAPA for deviations, incidents, complaints, and audit observations under management guidance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Work with Engineering & Maintenance for preventive maintenance, breakdown resolution, and corrective actions.
• Communicate manpower requirements and manage shift-wise manpower allocation.
• Lead and supervise production operators and workers while promoting safe work practices.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, SOP, GMP, and quality standards.
• Optimize resource utilization, productivity, and product quality while meeting production schedules.
• Maintain production area housekeeping and implement production systems effectively.
• Develop multi-skilled manpower, particularly in packaging, and conduct employee training.
