Job summary

Veedol – Production Operator (Blending & Filling) is responsible for safely operating grease process blending and filling lines to ensure products meet quality and production targets.

You will handle base oils, additives, and raw materials, monitor process parameters, take QC samples, and maintain labels and batch records in a fast-paced shift environment.

Qualifications

• ITI (Technical Trade) or Diploma in Engineering.
• Freshers can also apply.
• Basic knowledge of pumps, tanks, valves, and filling machines will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate blending and filling operations as per production schedule and QA requirements.
• Charge raw materials and monitor parameters (temperature, time, batch quantity).
• Set up and adjust blending/filling equipment, ensure labeling and packing accuracy.
• Record production data, batch numbers and downtime; complete shift reports accurately.

To safely operate grease process, blending and filling operations, ensuring products are blended, filled, packed, and meet quality and production requirements.

Blending Operations

• Receive and verify base oils and additives as per production schedule.
• Charge raw materials into blending tanks according to approved formulations.
• Operate mixers, pumps, valves, and blending equipment.
• Monitor blending parameters such as temperature, mixing time, and batch quantity.
• Take samples and coordinate with Quality Control (QC) for testing.
• Ensure finished blends meet quality specifications before transfer.

Filling Operations

• Operate lubricant filling machines for bottles, pails, drums, and other containers.
• Set up filling lines and adjust machine settings as required.
• Monitor filling accuracy, labeling, sealing, and packing activities.
• Ensure correct product and batch details are used during filling.
• Maintain production records and batch documentation.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas as per 5S standards.

Documentation

• Record production data, material consumption, batch numbers, and downtime.
• Complete shift reports accurately and on time.
