Job summary

Concepts Hygiene is seeking a Filling Line Production Executive to manage day-to-day liquid filling and packaging line operations. The role covers manpower handling, production planning execution, machine utilization and process monitoring to meet safety, efficiency and quality targets.

The candidate will supervise operators and contractual staff, plan shifts, train on SOPs and GMP, monitor productivity, and ensure proper line setup, changeovers, and start-up activities for uninterrupted

Qualifications

• Required Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of production supervision experience in FMCG/household liquids preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee filling line operations for household liquids and ensure alignment with daily, weekly, monthly schedules.
• Lead shift planning, manpower deployment, and SOP/GMP/safety training for operators.
• Monitor line productivity, downtime, and packaging quality; coordinate with batch manufacturing and packing teams.
• Maintain production records and line reports (DPR, efficiency, downtime, material usage).
• Coordinate with stores for packaging materials and consumables; reduce wastage.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive/breakdown maintenance and assist in troubleshooting.
• Ensure EHS and safety standards; conduct toolbox talks and ensure PPE usage.

Job Summary

The Filling Line Production Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of liquid filling and packaging lines to ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards. The role includes manpower handling, production planning execution, machine utilization, process monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement activities across filling operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Operations Management

• Supervise complete filling line operations for household cleaning liquid products (Dishwash, Liquid Detergent, Floor Cleaner, Toilet Cleaner, Glass Cleaner, etc.).


• Ensure production plans are executed as per daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.


• Monitor line productivity, output, downtime, and overall efficiency.


• Coordinate with batch manufacturing and packing teams for uninterrupted material flow.


• Ensure proper line setup, changeovers, and startup activities.


• Maintain production continuity and minimize idle time.

2. Manpower Handling & Team Management

• Manage and allocate operators, helpers, and contractual manpower across filling lines.


• Conduct shift planning and manpower deployment as per production requirements.


• Train and guide workers on SOPs, GMP, safety practices, and work standards.


• Monitor worker discipline, attendance, and performance.


• Ensure effective communication during shift handovers.

3. Filling & Packaging Process Control

• Monitor filling accuracy, machine speed, and packaging quality.


• Ensure correct use of bottles, caps, labels, cartons, and packaging materials.


• Control wastage and reduce product and packing losses.


• Verify product coding, batch details, and packaging specifications.


• Ensure machine settings are maintained for optimum performance.

4. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to GMP, 5S, SOP, and quality standards.


• Coordinate with QC team for in-process checks and approvals.


• Ensure product quality parameters are maintained throughout production.


• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in production areas.


• Support internal and external audits.

5. Production Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain production records and line reports accurately.

6. Inventory & Material Coordination

• Coordinate with stores for timely availability of packaging materials and consumables.


• Monitor material usage and reduce excess consumption.


• Ensure proper handling and reconciliation of production materials.

7. Machine Coordination & Maintenance

• Coordinate with maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.


• Report machine abnormalities immediately.


• Support troubleshooting activities to reduce downtime.


• Ensure basic autonomous maintenance practices are followed.

8. Safety & Workplace Management

• Ensure compliance with EHS and plant safety standards.


• Conduct toolbox talks and promote safe working practices.


• Ensure proper PPE usage across the line.


• Identify and report unsafe conditions.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Experience

• 3 -7 years of experience in production supervision, preferably in:

• FMCG Manufacturing


• Personal Care / Chemical Manufacturing
