nVent in Bengaluru, Karnataka is seeking a senior Production & Material Planning professional to lead production planning, BOM-based material requirements, and warehouse coordination. The role emphasizes collaboration with procurement, manufacturing and logistics to ensure on-time deliveries and optimized resource use.

You will analyze production and inventory metrics, drive process improvements, and guide ERP SAP-based planning and BI reporting to support business objectives.

Formación

• University graduate in Mechanical or Automobile.
• 8–10 years of experience in Production & Material Planning and Warehouse Management.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP SAP, BI systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead production planning and stores operations to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing and on-time customer deliveries.
• Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand, optimize resource utilization, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Drive cross-functional coordination with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to support business objectives.
• Customer order booking & sharing delivery commitment considering process & RM lead time.
• Preparation of daily machine-wise production plan in ERP system.
• Release production orders and travel sheet to work centers as per schedules.
• Obtain Daily output information (number of finished products against plan etc.).
• Plan production tasks and schedules according to customer orders.
• Preparation of material requirement plan based on BOM and sharing monthly with purchasing.
• Monitor OEE, OTIF and operational efficiency on a daily basis.
• Chase the concerned departments to deliver parts according to the plan.
• Preparation of material requirement sheet according to BOM and sharing on monthly basis to purchase.
• Analyze production and inventory metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, cost, and service levels.

• Daily basis monitor OEE, OTIF and operational efficiency.
• Chase the concerned departments to deliver parts according to the plan
• Preparation of material requirement sheet according to the bill of material(BOM) & sharing on monthly basis to purchase.
• Analyze production and inventory metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, cost, and service levels.

YOU HAVE

• University graduate (Mechanical, Automobile.);
• Previous experience of 8-10 Years in Production & Material Planning and Warehouse Management will be preferred
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP SAP, BI systems
• Ability to understand production processes, cycle time, estimate product takt time, work to deadlines, and orientation towards problem-solving;
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and results;
• Able to communicate effectively with people from production, sales and back office levels.
