Job summary

nVent seeks a skilled mechanical engineer to lead end-to-end product development from concept to launch in Mumbai. You will drive DFM, prototyping, testing, certification, and pilot builds while translating product requirements into actionable engineering plans and NPI deliverables.

You will validate designs, collaborate with operations, quality, sourcing, product management, and sales, and own deliverables through stage-gate processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of mechanical product development/design experience.
• Strong knowledge of CAD tools and prototyping.

You Have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of mechanical product development/design experience
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD modeling, assemblies, drawings, and PDM/PLM systems
• Experience with manufacturing processes: stamping, machining, and injection molding
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
