Responsibilities

• Press Shop Operations: Direct the deep drawing, cutting, trimming, and beading processes while controlling scrap.
• Brazing & Leak Prevention: Oversee heating element brazing to ensure high-strength, leak-proof joints.
• Surface Finishing: Manage buffing and polishing to achieve premium aesthetic finish.
• Tooling Coordination: Coordinate with Tool & Die room for preventive maintenance and quick troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Yield & Cost Optimization: Monitor consumption of stainless steel coils/sheets and reduce waste.
• Industrial Safety: Enforce safety protocols for heavy press operators and heat/fume extraction.

Job description

Objective: Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing of stainless steel kettle jars, managing heavy press operations, precision brazing, and surface finishing to deliver zero-defect components to the assembly line.

Key Responsibilities

• Press Shop Operations: Direct the deep drawing, cutting, trimming, and beading processes. Ensure optimal utilization of hydraulic and mechanical presses while strictly controlling material scrap.
• Brazing & Leak Prevention: Oversee the critical heating element brazing process on the kettle base. Implement strict process controls to ensure high-strength, 100% leak-proof joints.
• Surface Finishing: Manage the buffing and polishing lines to achieve the flawless, premium aesthetic finish required by top brands.
• Tooling Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Tool & Die room for the preventive maintenance and quick troubleshooting of deep draw dies and trimming tools to minimize machine downtime.
• Yield & Cost Optimization: Monitor the consumption and yield of stainless steel coils/sheets. Track scrap generation and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce material waste.
• Industrial Safety: Enforce rigorous safety protocols for heavy press operators and manage proper heat/fume extraction in the brazing and polishing zones.
