Job summary

AMS Human Resources is seeking a Production Manager in Bangalore to oversee assembly, wiring and testing of control panels for industrial equipment.

You will drive lean manufacturing initiatives, monitor quality and WIP, and mentor manufacturing staff to build future leaders while motivating teams to achieve cost and safety goals.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of control panel wiring and automation is required.
• Experience in production areas, especially from control panel or automation for industrial equipment.
• Responsible for physical assembly, wiring and testing of control panels.

Responsibilities

• Plan and track the cost of operations and identify actions to reduce costs.
• Control WIP within target production days.
• Monitor in-process and output quality to meet customer requirements.
• Lead Kaizen, 5S, safety and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Position Production Manager

Location Bangalore (13-D,12-D,13-c and 13-B KIADB Industrial Area, 562107, Attibele)

Purpose of Job

• Need strong understanding of control panel wiring and automation with hands-on experience will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Production Area preferably from control panel or Automation area for industrial equipments
• This position is responsible for the physical assembly, wiring and testing of control panel of industrial equipment
• Responsible for SQCDP
• Plan and track the cost of operations, devise and implement actions for reduction in the costs
• Controls the WIP within the target days of production set
• Monitors the in-process and output quality parameters and take appropriate actions in line with the customer requirements
• Drive the implementation of change initiatives kaizen, 5s improvements projects , safety standards , problem solving projects and other lean manufacturing initiatives
• Mentor and develop manufacturing personnel to enable development of leaders from within
• Motivate and engage employees by identifying and rewarding performance
