Job summary

Rexel India seeks an experienced engineering professional to lead shop floor activities for electrical/PLC automation panel manufacturing. You will supervise production, coordinate cross-functional teams, read electrical drawings, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and schedule targets.

The role requires hands-on panel wiring and testing, plus familiarity with major PLC systems and AutoCAD. Strong communication and coordination skills are essential for successful on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent; 8–12 years experience.
• Experience in electrical/PLC automation panel manufacturing.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Hands-on panel wiring and testing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing, wiring, assembly, and testing of PLC, MCC, PCC, VFD, and control panels.
• Ensure compliance with customer specs, quality standards, safety requirements, and timelines.
• Production planning and shop floor supervision; coordinate with design/engineering/procurement/project teams.
• Review technical changes and implement revisions in production.
• Support FAT and customer inspections; ensure QC/QAP compliance.

Job Description

• Experience in electrical/PLC automation panel manufacturing
• Shop floor production supervision and manpower handling
• Knowledge of PLC control panels, MCC, PCC, APFC, and VFD panels.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Hands-on experience in panel wiring and testing.
• Familiarity with Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, ABB, Mitsubishi, or Omron PLC systems.
• Knowledge of electrical standards such as IEC, UL508A, and IS standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Coordination and communication skills.
• Basic computer and documentation skills
• To plan, coordinate, and execute the manufacturing, wiring, assembly, and testing of PLC, MCC, PCC, VFD, and control panels while ensuring compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.
