Jetco Industries in Morbi, Gujarat, seeks a seasoned Production Manager for electrical control panel manufacturing. You will lead daily operations, plan targets, coordinate with design, QA, and projects, and drive on-time deliveries.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on supervision, and expertise in panel wiring, BOM, SLDs, and 5S safety on the shop floor. ERP updates and cost control are also key responsibilities.

Formación

• Experience in electrical control panel manufacturing.
• Knowledge of panels, wiring, and testing processes.
• Ability to read drawings and BOM.
• Experience leading production teams.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day production activities for electrical control panels.
• Plan and achieve daily to monthly production targets.
• Guide supervisors, electricians, technicians, and workers.
• Ensure assembly, wiring, and mounting per drawings and BOM.
• Read SLD, GA, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate with design, purchase, QA, testing, and projects.
• Monitor manpower, material, progress, and delivery schedules.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain quality, testing, and finishing before dispatch.
• Control wastage and production costs; maintain MIS.
• Implement 5S, safety, and quality on shop floor.
• Train production team to improve productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement for timely delivery.
• Update ERP for planning, consumption, and work orders.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day production activities for electrical control panels.


• Plan and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets as per project schedules.


• Handle and guide supervisors, electricians, technicians, and production workers.


• Ensure panel assembly, fabrication, busbar work, wiring, and component mounting are carried out as per approved drawings and BOM.


• Read and understand SLD, GA, schematic, and wiring diagrams.


• Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Testing, and Project teams for smooth production.


• Monitor manpower, material availability, production progress, and delivery schedules.


• Identify production issues, bottlenecks, and rework and take corrective actions.


• Ensure proper quality, workmanship, testing, and finishing of panels before dispatch.


• Control material wastage, rework, rejection, and production costs.


• Maintain production reports, WIP status, and daily/monthly MIS.


• Ensure proper implementation of 5S, safety, and quality standards on the shop floor.


• Train and develop the production team to improve productivity and efficiency.


• Drive continuous improvement in production processes and achieve timely delivery.


• Ensure timely and accurate ERP updates for production planning, material consumption,work orders, and production status.

Required Skills

• Strong practical knowledge of Electrical Control Panel Manufacturing.


• Good knowledge of PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC, VFD, AMF and LT Panels.


• Good understanding of electrical components, busbars, power/control wiring, and panel testing.


• Strong leadership and team-management skills.


• Good problem-solving and coordination abilities.


• Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting.


• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in Electrical Panel / Switchgear Manufacturing with proven

experience in handling production teams and meeting quality and delivery targets.
