Job summary

Kanakapura Silk Park Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Production Manager to lead the planning, execution, control, and continuous improvement of all manufacturing operations.

The role ensures targets for production volume, silk quality, renditta, reelability, machine utilization, and cost are met while upholding safety and environmental standards. The manager will optimize the use of manpower, machinery, raw materials, utilities and financial resources, serving as the primary link among Production,

Qualifications

• Experience in production management and manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of ERP/SAP production entries.
• Strong planning and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, control, monitor and continuously improve manufacturing operations.
• Ensure production targets for volume, silk quality, renditta, reelability, machine utilization, material recovery, cost, labor productivity, inventory, safety and environmental compliance are met.
• Coordinate between Production, Procurement, QA, Maintenance, Stores, Finance, Sales, HR and Senior Management to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Role & responsibilities

The Production Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, control, monitoring, and continuous improvement of all manufacturing operations within Kanakapura Silk Park Pvt. Ltd.

The role ensures that production targets are achieved while maintaining approved standards for:

• Production volume
• Silk quality
• Renditta
• Reelability
• Machine utilization
• Material recovery
• Production cost
• Labour productivity
• Inventory control
• Safety performance
• Environmental compliance
• Traceability
• ISO system compliance

The Production Manager is accountable for converting production plans into efficient shop-floor execution while ensuring optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials, utilities, and financial resources.

The position also serves as the primary coordination point between Production, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Stores, Finance, Sales, Human Resources, and Senior Management to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
